Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to assess the capability of interested sources to provide advanced broadband technology subscription services for its aircraft fleet. The required services include satellite internet, data, voice, and 5G services compatible with the FAA's existing installed FDX Galileo LEO and Swift Broadband systems. The FAA is seeking statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes. The market survey is not a screening information request (SIR) or request for proposal (RFP), and the FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response.
• The FAA requires a capability statement limited to five pages, including a brief description of the services provided by the firm.
• Respondents must clearly state their capacity to perform 100% of the work requirement as the prime contractor.
• The FAA will only accept submissions electronically emailed to the specified email address.
• The market survey is for informational purposes only, and the FAA may decide to conduct a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses.
