Highway 18 Northside Waterline Improvements

The City of Brandon is seeking bids for the construction of the Highway 18 Northside Waterline Improvements project. The project includes the installation of approximately 6,700 linear feet of 12” C-900 water main, associated gate valves, fire hydrants, bores, connections, and all other necessary appurtenances. The contract time is 75 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day thereafter. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. • The project requires the installation of water main, gate valves, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances. • The contract documents can be examined at the City of Brandon and Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC. • Copies of the bidding documents can be obtained at Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC upon payment of $150 per set. • Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. • The City of Brandon reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or to reject any or all bids.
