Description
The University is seeking a qualified contractor to perform annual testing, inspection, and reporting of its fire‑alarm and fire‑sprinkler systems across multiple campus locations. The work must comply with the latest NFPA 72 (fire‑alarm) and NFPA 25 (sprinkler) standards, include coordination with the university’s facilities liaison, and provide detailed hard‑copy and digital documentation after each inspection. The contract is a five‑year, fixed‑price service with optional one‑year renewals.
• Annual inspection & testing of all fire‑alarm devices listed in Attachment 1 (hundreds of smoke detectors, panels, tamper switches, etc.).
• Annual inspection & testing of fire‑sprinkler systems and pumps listed in Attachment 2 (wet/dry systems, stand‑pipe, fire‑pump verification).
• Submission of two hard‑copy reports + one digital copy per inspection, plus cost proposals for any repairs or modifications identified.
