Liquid Petroleum Gas Services

The City of Newport News is seeking proposals from qualified firms to furnish propane fuel, Autogas, tanks, repair services, emergency services, and equipment inspections for the City's Department of General Services. The selected firm will be responsible for providing comprehensive Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) services, including supply, delivery, installation, maintenance, and emergency services. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. • The City operates emergency propane generators that fuel pumping stations and buildings. • The selected firm will be required to provide propane fuel, Autogas, tanks, and related services. • The firm will be responsible for ensuring a reliable and safe supply of LPG to support the City's operational needs. • The firm must adhere to all relevant standards and regulations, prioritize safety, and maintain clear communication with City personnel. • The firm will be required to provide a dedicated customer service team to address any issues or concerns promptly.
