Description
The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial and grounds services for the Battle Creek Rest Area. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the rest area, including the buildings, grounds, and facilities. The contract will be for a period of time, likely 1-2 years, and the contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the services. The contractor will also be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• The services to be provided include janitorial services, such as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, floors, and surfaces, as well as grounds services, such as mowing, trimming, and maintaining the landscape.
• The contractor will be required to provide a detailed proposal, including a statement of work, pricing, and qualifications.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who receives a PASS for each criterion and has the lowest price.
• The State reserves the right to modify the RFP, cancel the RFP process, or adjust the timing for any section of the solicitation.
