The City of Reno is seeking a qualified contractor to overhaul Chiller #1 at the National Bowling Stadium and optionally replace its control system. The work includes complete disassembly, refurbishment of high‑speed and low‑speed assemblies, refrigerant recovery and recharge, replacement of key components, and integration of new BMS‑compatible controllers and sensors. The contract is short‑duration, performance‑bonded, and subject to Nevada public‑works statutes. • Remove, refurbish, and re‑assemble high‑speed and low‑speed chiller components, replace bearings, seals, oil pump, and check valve. • Recover, recharge, and test R134a refrigerant to restore factory charge (≈1,250 lb). • Optional alternate: install non‑proprietary controls and sensors for Building Management System monitoring and scheduling. • Provide all labor, tools, materials, safety compliance (confined‑space, prevailing‑wage, apprenticeship), warranties, and required documentation.
