Cargo Vans

The Columbus City Schools is seeking bids for the purchase of cargo vans. The vans must be new, meet certain specifications, and be delivered to the Columbus City Schools Fleet Services. The bid includes requirements for the vehicle's powertrain, exterior, interior, safety features, and accessories. Bidders must submit their bids via PublicPurchase.com and include the required forms and information. The bid will be awarded based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Key features and requirements of the bid include: • Power doors, power windows, and air conditioning are required • Lap and shoulder seat belts are required for all positions • Anti-lock Brake System for front and rear brakes • 12V power point • All vehicles to be delivered with fuel tank at least one-half full • Key FOBS: Two sets of keys with FOBS enabling electronic keyless entry will be included with the delivery of the vehicle • Tires: Shall be as recommended by the manufacturer for the vehicle specified, and shall be premium quality of recognized manufacturer, steel belted radials (all season tread) • Paint: Preferred Color is white, all standard colors are acceptable • The bid includes an option package for additional features such as extended warranty, high roof upgrade, and backup camera.
