Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking a certified Small Business (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide building maintenance services at Caltrans-owned construction facilities, storage buildings, and field labs in Tuolumne County. The services include routine and non-routine maintenance, and the contractor must possess a valid and current B - General Building Contractor license issued by the California Contractor State License Board. The contract requires prevailing wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000.
• The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, parts, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary to perform the services.
• The contractor must have a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, labor, and environmental protection.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance with the required endorsements.
• The contractor must maintain its status as a DGS-certified SB/MB/SB-PW or DVBE throughout the term of the agreement.
