Wayfinding and Signage

The City of Cleveland is seeking a qualified firm to provide wayfinding and signage services for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The selected firm will be responsible for assessing existing conditions, developing a standardized wayfinding strategy, creating design guidelines, and implementing improvements to enhance clarity, accessibility, and consistency across both landside and airside areas. The firm will provide staff augmentation services and report to the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications and Guest Experience. Key services include wayfinding strategy and planning, design standards and system governance, program management and implementation oversight, stakeholder engagement and coordination, accessibility, compliance, and risk management, and production and installation oversight. • The airport's existing terminal complex is expected to remain in service for approximately the next seven years. • The current wayfinding and signage systems are dated, inconsistent, and increasingly ineffective in supporting passenger navigation and overall guest experience within an aging facility. • The selected firm will assist in evaluating existing conditions, developing a standardized wayfinding strategy, creating design guidelines, and implementing improvements that enhance clarity, accessibility, and consistency across both landside and airside areas. • The firm will provide staff augmentation services and report to the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications and Guest Experience. • The project includes a pre-qualification conference, a deadline for questions, and a statement submission deadline.
