The Louisiana Department of Health, Office of Public Health, is seeking information from potential vendors to provide STI, HIV, and Hepatitis C prevention programming to persons at greatest risk for acquiring or transmitting those conditions. The goal is to maximize the impact of activities in each region to reduce new infections. Eligible respondents include non-profit community-based organizations, universities, and colleges. The contract period will be up to three years, with a total of approximately $1 million to $2.8 million available to support all contracts.
• The contract will be awarded based on the consistency of each proposal with the proposal guidelines, state and local epidemiology of HIV/STIs, and national and Louisiana-specific HIV and STI strategic plans.
• The selected vendors will be required to provide quarterly progress reports and adhere to specific performance requirements.
• The contract may be terminated early if the contractor fails to meet agreed-upon deliverables or if federal funding or priorities change.
