Description
The State of Alabama’s Department of Forensic Sciences is seeking a sole‑source provider to deliver STRmix™ Open Full Training Workshops, annual software upgrades, and ongoing scientific support for the STRmix™ forensic DNA analysis platform. The effort covers ten (10) separate training/maintenance units for a twelve‑month period (10/1/2026‑9/30/2027) and includes troubleshooting, case‑specific queries, and general email support, but excludes validation or major version upgrades. This is a Quick Quote solicitation with a ceiling of $25,000 and must be submitted electronically through Alabama Buys.
• Provide 10 full‑day training workshops on STRmix™ usage.
• Deliver annual software upgrades and maintenance for the full contract year.
• Offer scientific support (troubleshooting, case queries, email assistance) throughout the 12‑month period.
• All services must be performed for the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Mobile Lab 1 (Forensic Drive Mobile, AL 36617).
