Uniforms for Emergency Services

The County of Lexington is seeking sealed proposals for Uniforms for Emergency Services for Fire, EMS, and 911/Communications departments. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for an additional year. The successful vendor will be required to provide uniforms and other apparel items as specified in the bid form. The evaluation criteria will include responsiveness to the RFP, ability to fulfill other government contracts of a similar scope and size, references, costs, and delivery time. Some key points to note are: * The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the County. * The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. * The successful vendor will be required to provide insurance as set forth in the proposal. * The contract may be terminated pursuant to the proposal. * Some of the uniform items for bid include BDU pants, 1.75" garrison duty belt, cuffed knitted cap, fleece service beanine, baseball cap, and sport Tek ST355P. * The vendor must provide a shipping matrix, including the cost of shipping for different order amounts.
