Description
The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System requires a hot water boiler for Building 24. The boiler must meet specific requirements, including a size of no more than 36” L x 30” W & 48” H, a rating for commercial use, and a 500,000 BTU capacity with a turn-down ratio of 10 to 1. The contractor must deliver and install the boiler, and provide factory startup and training. The contract is unrestricted, and all vendors must be registered in the System Award Management database.
• The boiler must be rated for commercial use
• The boiler must be 500,000 BTU with turn down capability to 50,000 BTU
• The boiler must run off natural gas
• The boiler must be powered by 120V 1 PH power
• The boiler must be rated for being installed indoors and have combustion and vent connection points
• The boiler must have internal programming capacity to schedule off hours operation
• The boiler must have a BACnet / MSTP card for connection to BAS for monitoring and controlling
• The boiler must be supplied with a condensate neutralization kit
• The boiler must be supplied with a ½ hp boiler pump with 2” flange connection
• The boiler must be supplied with a magnetic filter assembly with 2 inch NPT connections
• The boiler must be provided with a CO / GAS detector that shuts off Gas supply valve and provides an audible alarm
• The boiler must be provided with 2 Emergency power off switches that shuts boiler off and closes gas valve
