Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide generator startup, repairs, and maintenance services for all state agencies. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for four additional two-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide a quarterly administrative fee to the Commonwealth, and to comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement. The vendor will also be required to provide proof of insurance coverage, including commercial general liability insurance and automobile liability insurance.
* Key services to be provided include:
* Generator inspections, including 4-hour Load Bank Tests and oil sampling
* Trip charge for service requirements outside of annual/semi-annual generator inspections
* Normal business hours cost for service requirements outside of annual/semi-annual generator inspections
* After business hours cost for service requirements outside of normal business hours
* Repairs, including emergency call response within one hour and on-site response within two hours
* Provision of repair parts at cost to the facility
