Description
The Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors is seeking a qualified individual or firm to provide legal services to the Board. The selected contractor will provide one designated attorney to attend all KBLPC meetings, draft memoranda, correspondence, and other documents relating to actions taken by the board, and provide legal advice on actions under consideration by the KBLPC. The contractor may also be requested to prepare drafts of legislation, review draft legislation, and accompany a representative of the Board to legislative committee meetings.
• Provide legal counsel to the KBLPC
• Attend KBLPC meetings and provide legal advice
• Draft memoranda, correspondence, and other documents
• Prepare and review draft regulations and forms
• Represent the Board in administrative proceedings and civil actions
• Provide testimony during legislative committee meetings
