Description
Midwestern State University is seeking a vendor to supply new music‑related equipment for its Fain Fine Arts department. The base‑bid items are non‑substitutable Wenger Signature choir risers and matching side rails. Two optional alternates allow substitution of comparable music stands, storage carts, student musician chairs, and related racks, provided full documentation of any alternate brand is supplied. All equipment must be brand‑new, include warranties, and be delivered to Wichita Falls, TX, with freight costs incorporated. The university will evaluate proposals primarily on overall cost (65 %) plus compliance, delivery time, past performance and references. Bids equal to or exceeding $25,000 require a 5 % bid deposit and payment bond; bids $100,000+ also need a performance bond and a Texas HUB subcontracting plan. The contract runs through 31 Dec 2021 with up to four one‑year renewal options.

• Alternate #1: Up to 50 Manhassert music stands and 2 storage carts (substitutions permitted with comparable quality).
• Alternate #2: Up to 54 Wenger student musician chairs and 3 chair racks (substitutions permitted).
• Requirements: New equipment, warranty, delivery lead time, unit pricing, shipping included, bonding thresholds, HUB subcontracting plan if > $100k, E‑Verify, Section 508 (if applicable).
