Children and Family Services (CFS) Ad Hoc Committee Consultant

The San Bernardino County Human Services Department is seeking a qualified consultant to support the Child Welfare Ad Hoc Committee by serving as a neutral intermediary and governance facilitator between the Board, the County Administrative Office, and Children and Family Services Department. The consultant will support the Ad Hoc Committee through a structured process focused on facilitation of complex policy discussions, interpretation of child welfare systems and practices, development of recommendations, and reporting on outcomes associated with those recommendations. Key responsibilities include: • Facilitating complex policy discussions • Interpreting child welfare systems and practices • Developing recommendations • Reporting on outcomes associated with those recommendations The consultant will be required to travel to various locations in San Bernardino County, including the Government Center, Children and Family Services offices, and other locations as needed. The contract period will be for one year, with the option to extend, subject to County approval and funding availability.
