Description
The Kentucky State Fair Board is seeking a qualified Entertainment Manager to book and produce entertainment acts for the Kentucky State Fair. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating contracts with entertainers, managing stage productions, and coordinating logistics. The contract period is expected to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028, with the option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods.
Key responsibilities include:
• Booking entertainment acts for the Kentucky State Fair
• Negotiating contracts with entertainers and their managers or agents
• Managing stage productions and coordinating logistics
• Coordinating with the KSFB's Purchasing Department to procure necessary items and services
• Providing personnel assistance as required
The ideal candidate will have experience in booking entertainment acts, managing stage productions, and negotiating contracts for state fairs, festivals, or other mass entertainment events.
