Tystar MiniTytan 4600 Furnace Service Contract

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a firm-fixed priced purchase order on a sole source basis with Tystar Corporation for a service contract for the Tystar MiniTytan 4600 furnace. The contract will include annual preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance visits, and support for the tool. The period of performance shall include a base period of twelve months, plus four 12-month option periods. • The Tystar MiniTytan 4600 furnace is a critical tool in the BMF, essential for mission-critical operations. • The furnace requires ongoing monitoring and periodic service to maintain operational readiness. • Only Tystar has the specialized knowledge, authorized parts, and technical expertise necessary to service and maintain the system to OEM specifications. • The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis due to the exclusivity of Tystar's knowledge and expertise.
