H256-- No Award Amendment| Elevator Third-Party Inspection and Testing Services BK & SA

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide elevator third-party inspection and testing services for the Brooklyn VA Medical Center and St. Albans VA Medical Center. The contractor will be required to perform a Five-Year Safety Test (Category 5) as well as annual and semiannual Safety Tests (Category 1) for elevators and dumbwaiters. The contractor must have a ASME QEI-1 certification and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and codes. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months with four option years. The contractor will be required to submit reports and provide a detailed in-person brief of each elevator. • The contractor must have experience in performing elevator inspections and testing. • The contractor must have a ASME QEI-1 certification. • The contractor must adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and codes. • The contractor must submit reports and provide a detailed in-person brief of each elevator. • The contractor must have a site safety and health officer (SSHO) assigned to the contract.
