Water Heaters

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking bids for the procurement of water heaters. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. The water heaters must meet the specified requirements, including 82% efficiency, low NOx, bronze headers, 1,050,000 BTU input natural gas, spark ignition system, on/off firing mode, and cupronickel ASME heat exchanger. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the manufacturer's warranty and provide warranty work at the receiving location. • The water heaters must be new and unused, of current production, and meet all applicable OSHA standards and regulations. • The bidder must provide a Texas Identification Number System (T.I.N.S.) number and a federal tax identification number. • The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. • The bidder must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the State of Texas. • The contract may be extended up to three months at the sole discretion of the State.
