Description
London Independent School District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide delivered pizza for the Child Nutrition Department on an independent contractor basis. The contract period will be from July 24, 2026, to May 19, 2027, with the option to renew for up to two additional 12-month periods. The vendor must provide cheese and pepperoni pizza that meets the National School Lunch Program specifications, with whole grain flour used for the crust and part-skim cheese. The pizza must be delivered hot, cut into eight equal servings, and ready to serve. The vendor will be evaluated based on factors such as price, ability to meet delivery requirements, and years of experience working with Child Nutrition Programs.
• The vendor must provide nutritional labels and ingredient labels for all products submitted.
• The vendor must comply with the Buy American provision and provide certification that over 51% of the final processed product consists of agricultural commodities grown domestically in the United States.
• The vendor must maintain sufficient inventory to cover the needs of the District and provide code information and a list of delivery routes and personnel.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal employment opportunity and environmental protection.
