Preventive Maintenance for Gatan BioContinuum system and the Gatan Alpine Vista direct electron detector, including supporting equipment

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences is seeking a contractor to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for the Gatan BioContinuum system and the Gatan Alpine Vista direct electron detector, including supporting equipment. The contractor will be required to perform one annual preventive maintenance visit for each covered system, as well as provide unlimited telephone technical support and on-site service calls. The contractor must use only factory-certified technicians and follow manufacturer specifications for all maintenance and repair work. • The contractor will be required to prepare and submit written reports after each annual preventive maintenance visit and each repair service call. • The contractor must respond to emergency repair calls within 48 hours during normal business hours. • The contractor must provide quality control procedures and follow applicable National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences site access and visitor procedures. • The contractor's personnel must be certified by appropriate Federal and State regulatory agencies and specifically trained and factory-certified in the service and repair of the covered equipment.
