Description

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is seeking industry feedback on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) employment selection assessments and assessment development services. The goal is to expand the assessment content for technical competencies available through the USA Hire platform. OPM is interested in COTS hiring assessments designed to evaluate technical competencies, such as job knowledge tests, work samples, and structured interviews. Vendors are invited to provide information on their COTS technical skills assessments and assessment development services. • The assessments should be commercially available, modern, and scalable. • The assessments should be able to be administered via the USA Hire platform in a "plug-and-play" model. • The assessments should meet the requirements of federal hiring and/or skills-verification use cases. • The assessments should deliver cost savings at scale for the government. • Vendors should provide information on their company, including name, address, and primary contact. • Vendors should provide an overview of their assessments, including title, applicable federal job series, technical skills assessed, target career level, delivery format, and pricing model. • Vendors should provide information on their assessment development services, including estimated throughput, staffing, and costs.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $1,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as it is a request for information (RFI) rather than a solicitation for a specific contract. However, based on the scope of the project, which involves providing commercial off-the-shelf employment selection assessments and assessment development services, the budget could potentially be in the range of $100,000 to $1,000,000 or more, depending on the complexity and scale of the project. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of assessments required, the level of customization needed, and the duration of the contract.
