Description
The Alabama National Guard is seeking a single qualified vendor to perform annual visual roof inspections at all designated Guard facilities in the Central Region of Alabama. The contract is limited to inspection services only—no repair work is authorized. The vendor must submit detailed inspection reports, including a completed checklist, photographs, condition ratings, and recommended corrective‑action scopes. The award will be “all‑or‑none” to the lowest responsible bidder who meets insurance, licensing, and certification requirements, and maintains a physical business presence in Alabama. The base period is one year with up to four optional one‑year extensions, subject to performance and written approval.
• Perform one complete roof inspection per facility each contract year, following the standardized checklist (general roof condition, penetrations, drainage, leak evidence).
• Deliver a written report and photo log within 10 business days of each inspection; follow‑up reports within 5 business days when leaks are reported.
• Provide required insurance (General Liability $3M total/$1M per occurrence, Workers’ Comp $1M, Automobile $1M) and all state‑mandated licenses; respond to any information requests within 5 days.
• No repair work is performed under this contract; the vendor must supply a Scope of Work for any identified deficiencies for separate repair contracts.
