Consultant for Flood Study

The City of Pueblo is seeking a consultant to perform a flood study to improve the accuracy of flood hazard mapping and base flood elevations in the vicinity of the James R. DiIorio Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The consultant will be responsible for technical analyses, data collection, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, public outreach, and preparation of a report and application to be submitted to FEMA. The project will include six tasks: project management and coordination, data collection and review, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, public outreach and technical meetings, preparation of a report and application, and coordination with federal, state, and local agencies. • The consultant will be required to have experience in flood studies and mapping, as well as knowledge of FEMA's guidelines and standards for flood risk analysis and mapping. • The consultant will be required to provide a detailed project schedule and timeline, as well as a fee schedule and hourly rates for their services. • The consultant will be required to coordinate with the City, FEMA, and other stakeholders throughout the project. • The consultant will be required to provide all necessary documentation and reports, including a final report and application to be submitted to FEMA.
