Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a professional service contractor to provide design services for the Cooper Street Correctional Facility's various HVAC systems. The project includes multiple phases, including schematic design, preliminary design, final design, and construction administration. The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete design based on the approved project/program statement. The state reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
• The project requires the contractor to have demonstrated experience in the successful planning and execution of similar projects in full accordance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal regulations.
• The contractor must provide a technical proposal and a cost proposal.
• The state will evaluate the proposals based on the technical portion (80%) and the cost proposal (20%).
• The contractor must include a certification of a Michigan-based business and a responsibility certification form.
• The state will reimburse the contractor for actual costs of printing and reproduction of project deliverables, soil borings, site surveys, and any required laboratory testing.
