Snow Plowing Services and Equipment Rental

The City of Shelton is seeking competitive bids for Snow Plowing Services and Equipment Rental. The contract is for three years with the option to extend for an additional three years. The city requires 4x4 mason dump trucks with 2-3 yard capacity sanders and larger 6 and 10-wheel dump trucks with 11' plow blades and 5-yard sanders. The city will supply fuel for the equipment. The bidder must provide a copy of their Commercial Automobile Insurance and have an experienced licensed CDL driver. The bid must include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, plant, mobilization, permits, insurances, etc. required to properly complete the project. • The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informality to technicalities of proposals, or to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Shelton. • The bidder must not discriminate against any person on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, handicap, or veteran status. • The bidder must comply with all applicable provisions of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. • The bidder must provide evidence of insurance coverage, including Contractor’s Liability and Worker’s Compensation. • The bidder must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the City of Shelton as the additional insured.
