Spud Barge CE 869 Dry Dock

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to dry dock and repair the Spud Barge CE 869. The scope of work includes dry docking, gas freeing, ultrasonic testing, cleaning and coating, anode installation, and other repairs. The contractor must provide all necessary management, supervision, labor, facilities, utilities, equipment, tools, and materials to complete the work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced offeror that fulfils the requirements in the Statement of Work. Some key aspects of the job include: * Dry docking and holding the vessel on dock until all underwater repairs are complete * Gas freeing and certifying the affected spaces * Ultrasonic testing of the hull plating at 188 locations * Cleaning and coating the hull, sides, and bottom of the vessel * Installing new anodes and deck hatches * Modifying the spud well and bow rake steel * Replacing the marine sanitation device The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, including those related to environmental protection, worker safety, and quality control.
