Description
Washtenaw Community College is seeking a qualified contractor (or contractors) to provide comprehensive flooring services—including installation, repair, and maintenance of various floor types—under a Blanket Purchase Order that may be renewed annually. The contract will cover both scheduled projects and emergency‑response work throughout the campus, with cost‑plus pricing for labor, materials, equipment rentals, and regulatory fees. Contractors must meet strict qualification criteria, including bonding, insurance, OSHA‑10 training, and participation in a DOL‑registered Class A Apprenticeship Program. Proposals are due electronically by September 18, 2026.
• Scope includes carpet, carpet‑tile, pad/cushion, luxury vinyl plank, ceramic tile, and “other” flooring types.
• Pricing must be submitted via a cost‑plus markup structure for labor (journeyman, foreman, apprentice) and for materials/equipment.
• Contractor must provide a signed, notarized responsibility form, detailed pricing worksheet (Attachment A), and evidence of qualifications/experience (minimum three similar projects).
