Description
The State of Ohio is seeking a supplier to rebuild the #4 Chiller motor at the William Green Building. The project involves removing the failed motor, performing necessary repairs, and reinstalling and aligning the motor to ensure optimal performance. The supplier must attend a mandatory site visit on January 6, 2026, and provide a quote that includes all necessary repairs and services. The State encourages suppliers to purchase goods and services from Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity (EDGE) vendors.
• The project is structured into five key phases: motor removal, motor shop services, motor reinstallation, additional repairs, and performance testing.
• The supplier must provide a fully rewound motor with new bearings installed, supported by a bench test report, and a final performance test report.
• The supplier must comply with all state and federal laws regarding equal employment opportunity and fair labor and employment practices.
• The supplier must complete and submit the Contractor/Subcontractor Affirmation and Disclosure Form, affirming that they understand and will meet the requirements of the prohibition on the expenditure of public funds for offshore services.
