Marine Boat Hoist Weight Test Inspection

The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking a contractor to provide inspection and load testing services for a 35BFM mobile boat hoist at the USCG Station Southwest Harbor, ME. The contractor will be responsible for providing an inspector accredited by the United States Department of Labor to inspect, test, and report the condition of the weight handling equipment. The contractor must employ competent and qualified technicians and engineers to perform the required work. • The contractor must provide all necessary transportation, labor, equipment, materials, weights, measures, testing materials, and perform all operations in conjunction with inspecting, testing, and reporting the condition of the weight handling equipment. • All personnel performing inspections and tests must be certified as required by the applicable reference/standard by the United States Department of Labor. • All equipment within shall be rate or unit proof tested, and all required tests shall be carried out in accordance with the manufacturers’ written instructions.
