Bellevue Fire Department (BFD) Fire Hose, Nozzles and Appliances Annual NFPA Testing

The City of Bellevue is seeking a qualified vendor to perform annual hydrostatic testing, inspection, and certification of all fire hoses, nozzles, and appliances owned by the Bellevue Fire Department in compliance with NFPA standards and Washington Administrative Code 296‑305‑06003. The contract is a 5‑year agreement covering testing of hundreds of hose sections (various diameters and lengths), 176 nozzles, and 252 appliances. Work will be performed primarily at the Public Safety Training Center (and occasionally at Fire Station 9) between March and November each year, with a two‑week testing window scheduled for June 7‑11 and June 14‑18, 2027. The vendor must provide hydrostatic equipment capable of testing up to 500 psi, use or integrate barcode/RFID tracking technology, deliver results in Excel format, and supply a full testing report and certification.
