College Avenue Train Station Coffee Shop Concessionaire

The City of Wheaton is seeking proposals from qualified individuals/firms to provide services for the operation and management of a coffee shop concessionaire in the Wheaton College Avenue Metra Station. The selected firm will be required to enter into a concession agreement with the City, which will commence on February 1, 2026, for an initial period of 36 months, with a mutual option to renew the Agreement for an additional year. The concessionaire will be responsible for providing top-quality food and beverage services to the general public and Metra customers. • The concessionaire will be required to operate the coffee shop during specified hours, including weekdays from 30 minutes prior to the departure of the first train until the scheduled departure of the 9:35 am train. • The concessionaire will be responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications to operate the coffee shop. • The concessionaire will be required to provide a monthly concession fee to the City, which will be determined based on the proposal submitted. • The concessionaire will be responsible for maintaining the concession area in a clean and safe condition, and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
