06922P0021-Provision of Scattered-Site Supportive Housing

The City of New York is seeking proposals for the provision of scattered-site supportive housing services. The goal of the program is to provide individuals access to the affordable housing market in safe New York City communities. The services will assist individuals to develop and maintain healthy lives leading to an improved quality of life. Proposers are expected to find and lease apartments shortly after receiving an award, and apartments would be located citywide in neighborhoods that are in close proximity to public transportation and accessible to other amenities. • The program targets special populations such as those who may have serious mental illness, substance use disorders, are young adults aging out of foster care or with a high usage of homeless services. • The services are to be trauma-informed and will establish tenant choice in the receipt of services. • The program will increase the tenant’s capacity to manage their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and reach their fullest potential by providing tenant-directed, recovery-oriented services. • Proposers must have at least five years of successful, relevant experience in providing supportive housing services. • The term for each contract will be five years with one option to renew for up to four years.
