Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking bids to replace the generator pad on Building 12 at the Stiles Unit. The project includes digging and pouring a foundation that is 17 x 42 feet in size. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing concrete, rebar, framing, and bulk materials, as well as removing sod and hauling it off. The bidder must also ensure that all delivery staff comply with TDCJ security procedures, including having a security escort and not interacting with inmates.
• The project requires a non-mandatory site visit, which will be held on October 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
• Bidders must submit their bids electronically or by hard copy, and the deadline for submission is November 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
• The TDCJ reserves the right to immediately remove and/or refuse entry to any individual who has violated the security restrictions.
• The contractor must provide adequate insurance coverage to protect the TDCJ against all claims arising from the service performed.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to worker's compensation, liability, and auto insurance.
