Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide HAZMAT services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The contractor will be responsible for storing, inventorying, receiving, segregating, labeling, marking, and issuing HAZMAT in accordance with Air Force regulations. The contract is for a base 12-month period with four 12-month option periods. The contractor will operate out of building 271 with primary storage of assets in building 674. Some key responsibilities include:
• Storing and managing HAZMAT in accordance with Air Force regulations
• Providing training on HAZMAT handling and management
• Maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals
• Participating in the installation Hazardous Material Management Process Team
• Ensuring 100% compliance with environmental laws and regulations
• Maintaining good order of government-furnished property
• Providing customer service and support for HAZMAT-related issues
