Description
New York State Education Department (NYSED) seeks up to two qualified contractors to provide scientific bedrock coring‑drilling services for the New York State Geological Survey and New York State Museum over a five‑year period (May 1 2026 – April 30 2031). The work supports geological mapping and mineral‑resource investigations in northern and eastern New York, requiring continuous NQ‑size wireline core recovery, borehole sealing, and compliance with state water‑well regulations. Bidders may use subcontractors for specialized services, but subcontracting costs cannot exceed 30 % of the total contract value and must be embedded in unit‑rate pricing. No data‑privacy appendix is required; a payment schedule (Appendix C) is available separately.
