Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Remote Automated Laboratory Systems (RALS) for Hemochron Signature Elites at the Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for providing all software licenses, interfaces, services, training, and support necessary to connect the Hemochron Signature Elites analyzers to the existing RALS system. The contract period is from 10/01/2026 to 09/30/2031, with options to extend. The contractor must provide RALS Web3 device software module, connectivity and meter/analyzer connections, and results interface. The contractor must also provide training and maintenance for the system.
Some key features of the job include:
• Providing RALS Web3 device software module for the Werfen Hemochron Signature Elites
• Providing connectivity and meter/analyzer connections for Hemochron Signature Elites analyzers
• Providing results interface and ADT interface for in-hospital patient verification
• Providing RALS Silver Support Tier for the RALS data management system
• Providing service, support, updates, and hardware maintenance for the technology license during the contract period
• Providing free upgrades as they become commercially available and at the same time as commercial customers
• Ensuring the RALS software is compatible with Hemochron Signature Elites analyzers and the VA LIS and electronic patient record system (VistA/CPRS)
