Systemic Stop-Controlled Safety Intersection Phase 2 – Design Engineering Services

The City of Richland is seeking a consultant to provide design engineering services for the Systemic Stop-Controlled Safety Intersection Phase 2 project. The scope of work includes drafting and design support services to complete construction plans and design to install advance intersection warning systems, mini roundabouts, curb extensions, signing, pavement markings, and additional traffic control for public bidding. The consultant will be responsible for plan sheet creation, dimensioning, labeling, and drawing cleanup, as well as assisting with quantity calculations and exhibit and vicinity map creation. The City is looking for a consultant with experience in civil design work, roundabout design, and working with various engineers on multiple projects. Key aspects of the project include: • Advance intersection warning systems and mini roundabouts • Curb extensions, signing, and pavement markings • Additional traffic control for public bidding • Plan sheet creation and dimensioning • Quantity calculations and exhibit creation • Collaboration with City engineers and staff
