Request for Information (RFI) Clinical Pathology

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking information from potential providers of clinical pathology support from a qualified Medical Examiner. The FBI's Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG), Behavioral Analysis Units (BAUs), require a trained medical examiner to provide Clinical Pathology services, including on-site case consultations, telephone conference calls, and consultations with investigators. The contractor will be required to review cases, assist FBI personnel, and suggest additional investigative techniques. The contractor will also be required to provide written reports and/or oral presentations. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing Clinical Pathology services • Conducting on-site case consultations and telephone conference calls • Consulting with investigators at the BAUs on all aspects of child and adult death investigations • Reviewing cases submitted for FBI criminal investigative analysis • Assisting FBI personnel regarding forensic pathology findings in current death investigations • Suggesting additional investigative techniques that might be employed • Providing written reports and/or oral presentations concerning activities performed by the contractor • Preparing and delivering training curriculum in training forums, as requested.
