Description
Rowan University is seeking an on‑call vendor to provide comprehensive special inspection and material testing services for its construction and renovation projects across multiple campuses. The vendor will become a pre‑approved, single‑prime contractor that can be called upon for a variety of inspections (structural, fire, seismic, MEP, etc.) and laboratory testing, with all work overseen by an in‑house NJ‑registered Professional Engineer. The contract is an indefinite‑delivery, on‑call arrangement with an initial term ending 30 June 2027 and possible one‑year extensions. Proposals are evaluated on organization (45 pts), experience (45 pts), and pricing (10 pts).
• Provide on‑call special inspections and material testing for all Rowan construction projects (Glassboro, West, Camden, Stratford campuses).
• Must have NJ‑licensed PE responsibility, appropriate ASTM‑compliant equipment, and meet NJ’s “Approved Agency” criteria.
• Submit hourly rate schedule for each staff category; payment made after completion of services (no progress billing).
• Required insurance limits, background checks, and prohibition on subcontracting without prior consent.
