Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide repair services for Chiller Plant Skid 1 & 2 Pump at the Alexandria, VA Medical Center in Pineville, LA. The contractor must provide all tools, shipping, delivery, personnel, transportation, demolition, removal of old equipment, installation of new equipment, modifications to existing piping, and other necessary services to deliver and install the equipment for repairing Chillers 1 and 2. The scope of work includes providing regular system health checks, preventative/routine maintenance, repairs, onsite training, and access to a technical support team in support of two industrial chillers and their subcomponents.
Some key points to note are:
* The contractor must install both pump/motor for each chiller 1&2 and triple duty valve for both chillers.
* VFDs are required but not being replaced.
* No BAS connections are needed.
* The piping is 12" for chiller 1 and 10" for chiller 2.
* The insulation is wrapped fiberglass insulation 2" thick.
