Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Varian Medical Systems, INC for a one-year service contract for the Varian Clinac 6EX radiation therapy system. The contract will include support service agreement, installation, management services, and safety PM certifications. The vendor must be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment.
Some key points to consider are:
• The contract is for a one-year period, from December 1, 2025, to November 30, 2026.
• The vendor must provide brand name equipment, installation, management services that meet or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of the services listed.
• No remanufacture or gray market items will be acceptable.
• The vendor must be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment.
• The contract will be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source.
