Budget estimate

$240,000 – $600,000

The solicitation does not disclose the commission rate or expected program revenues. Typical county‑run water‑sports programs generate between $200k–$500k in annual gross receipts, with commissions ranging from 10% to 20% of revenue. Assuming a mid‑range commission of 15%, the vendor could expect to remit roughly $30k–$75k per year to the County, leaving $170k–$425k of gross revenue to the vendor before expenses. After accounting for boat fuel, maintenance, staff wages, insurance, and equipment costs, net profit could plausibly fall in the $80k–$200k per year range, translating to a total contract value over a three‑year base term of approximately $240k–$600k. Factors influencing the budget include the number of participants, pricing structure, seasonal demand, and the extent of additional services (rentals, wellness classes, events) the vendor elects to offer.
