Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System is seeking to standardize all privacy curtains found within their VA Medical Centers. They require a vendor that will both provide and service all privacy curtains and railing systems found within the VA Medical Centers. The selected vendor will be expected to provide a comprehensive privacy curtain management program, including disposable privacy curtains, rod and hook assemblies, professional installation, scheduled curtain replacement, inventory management, QR code-based asset tracking, and recycling program. The program should be designed to integrate with existing hospital infrastructure, requiring minimal changes to current operations. Some key points to consider: * The vendor should be able to provide both regular patient privacy curtains and ligature-free shower curtains and patient privacy curtains for mental health wards. * The vendor should have a comprehensive privacy curtain management program that includes product performance, compliance documentation, and ongoing support. * The vendor should have experience working in healthcare environments and follow standardized installation and replacement procedures designed to minimize disruption to patient care while supporting infection prevention initiatives. * The contract will be a firm-fixed-price sole source contract.
