Proposal for Engineering Services for the Replacement of Cooling Tower/Chiller

The County of Leelanau is seeking proposals for engineering services to replace the cooling tower/chiller system at the Leelanau Courthouse building. The selected engineer will evaluate the current system, recommend alternative remedies, prepare bid and construction documents, and act as project manager during construction. The scope of work includes conducting site visits, analyzing system capacity requirements, evaluating alternatives, and providing a comparative analysis of capital cost, operating cost, life expectancy, and maintenance requirements. The County is looking for a respondent with significant experience, competence, and reputation in providing similar services. • The proposal should include a statement of qualifications, project experience, and a technical approach to completing the scope of work. • The respondent should provide a cost proposal, including all costs and expenses necessary to accomplish the tasks and produce the deliverables. • The respondent should identify any anticipated and/or potential project problems and describe their approach to resolving these problems. • The respondent should provide a definitive statement of intent to comply with the contractual terms and conditions. • The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in proposals.
