Satellite capacity and managed teleport services

The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is seeking preliminary information from capable and reliable sources who may be interested in submitting a proposal to provide satellite capacity and managed teleport services. The goal is to obtain managed services that offer cost-effective, reliable, scalable, and secure global network capability optimized for high-definition audio and video broadcast programming. The contractor shall maintain a digital broadcast and digital radio distribution infrastructure with an experienced and knowledgeable staff. The infrastructure shall include digital video and digital audio teleport facilities, and the contractor shall provide channelized satellite transponder capacity on TurkmenÄlem/MonacoSat at 52.0° East. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing satellite bandwidth capacity on TurkmenÄlem/MonacoSat @ 52.0° East • Maintaining a digital broadcast and digital radio distribution infrastructure • Providing 24/7/365 signal monitoring and technical support • Delivering high-quality content and ensuring high-availability interconnects • Providing a fully managed and maintained DIA network connection • Offering technical recommendations and service upgrades • Providing customer support and expertise in technical operations and management
