Standard- and Medium-Duty Towing and Storage Services, Service Area 18 for LAPD

The Los Angeles Police Commission is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Standard- and Medium-Duty Towing and Storage Services as an Official Police Garage (OPG) for the City of Los Angeles in Service Area 18. The selected vendor will be responsible for responding to and providing towing and storage services upon request by any Police Officer or Traffic Officer employed by the City of Los Angeles. The services will include the removal, towing, and storage of vehicles, including those that are illegally parked, disabled, abandoned, or seized for evidentiary examination. The vendor will be required to provide services on a 24-hour, 365-days-per-year basis. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing standard- and medium-duty towing and storage services • Responding to requests from Police Officers or Traffic Officers • Removing, towing, and storing vehicles in various situations • Providing services on a 24-hour, 365-days-per-year basis • Complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations • Maintaining accurate records and providing reports as required
