DHCD CFO Executive Search

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is seeking a qualified executive search firm to recruit and place a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The selected firm will manage the full lifecycle of the recruitment process, including conducting a kickoff meeting, submitting a recruitment plan and position profile, sourcing and screening candidates, presenting semi-finalists and finalists, and providing support for offer negotiations. The contract has a firm fixed price not to exceed $50,000 and is expected to last for one year. The proposal should include a technical proposal, minimum qualifications documentation, price proposal, and signed affidavits. Key requirements include: • At least five years of active standing as an executive search firm • A track record of at least three CFO or equivalent financial leadership placements in the past five years • Three signed letters of recommendation or professional points of contact from previous clients • A firm fixed price for the entire engagement • Compliance with Maryland law and the State's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy
